The product is made exclusively from natural products - washi and urushi,  that have been used for centuries to create works of art. 

Inside the cover, there is a rubber band that holds in place sheets of paper inserted underneath.

The notebook made by Sugihara & Gessner - the Japanese-German duo which has been producing washi for years.
