Kozo – a paper-producing plant, one of the most popular in Japan.

Gampi – the finest fibres, thanks to which the paper is glossy and smooth.

Dosa – a nikawa glue added to the suspension of fibres in the process of paper moulding and again on the surface of sheets. Thanks to such technique, the paper is less absorbent and pigments used in painting and calligraphy leave sharp edges.
