Mizutama – a decorative fishnet-like paper. Patterns resemble lace and are created by falling drops of water.
Mizu – water, tama – stain. Water drops fall onto the wet sheet of paper, creating small openings. Patterns covered with a mould remain in the form of a smooth surface. As the water drops fall each time differently, each of the sheets is unique.
