Momi – a decorative paper with a wrinkled surface.
Momi - wrinkled. A traditional Japanese technique of decorating paper, based on its crumpling to obtain an uneven texture. This process is applied both in the case of smooth, monochromatic papers, as well as the ones with patterns.
