Nadebake brush. A professional brush used to smoothen the surface. Stiff bristle allows to press paper against base and to remove wrinkles at the same time.
Nade – to smoothen, bake - brush. A brush designated for conservator’s works. During paper lining, it allows to connect correctly both surfaces. To a certain degree, it can fulfil the function of uchibake (a brush used to imbed papers in their structure). The bristle is bound without the use of glue. Rounded edges of the handle refer to the traditional workshop of Kyoto, where the brush was made.
